Staff account management
Overview
This section covers how to manage Staff accounts in the SchoolEngage platform.

Staff management page
To access the list of staff users/profiles follow the steps below:
In the main left-hand menu click “Users”
Click “Staff”
Create a staff account
TIP: You can import staff from PowerSchool (see this section).
Once you are on the staff management page, you can follow the steps below to create a new staff account.
Click the “+ Create” button at the top of the table
In the popup, enter the required fields
Click “Save”
Viewing a staff account
Once you are on the staff management page, click on the button to navigate to their profile page.
Import a staff account from PowerSchool
Once you are on the staff management page, you can follow the steps below to create a new staff account.
Click the “Add From PowerSchool” button at the top of the table
In the popup, search for the name or email in the search box
Click the “
“ green plus button on person you would like to import, this will add the person to the section below
Click the drop down “Role” under the “Staff to Add” section
Select a Role you wish to apply to the staff import
Click
“Import” button to finish
Important: To import the user’s associated schools from PowerSchool, please click the “Add Staff With Access to PS Schools” button before proceeding with the import.
Edit a staff account
From the staff management page, you can edit account information by clicking the Pencil icon.
Click the Pencil icon on the row you wish to edit
In the popup, update the details you wish to change
Click “Save”
TIP: Try using the Keyword search text box at the top of the page to find a specific contact.
Delete a staff account
From the staff management page you have the ability to delete a staff account.
Click the
Trash icon on the row you wish to delete
You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the account
Click “Yes” if you wish to delete the account
WARNING: Once you delete the account, it cannot be recovered.
Setting staff as a Tester
If you want to assign Test forms, make sure that your staff account is a tester. To do this:
Click on the “Actions” button to bring up the options
Under User Flags, click “Is Tester?” to enable the staff account as a tester if it isn’t already.
Disabling staff account
Requires Disable Staff Accounts as an Administrator
If you want to disable the parent’s account in SchoolEngage:
Click on the “Actions” button to bring up the options
Under User Flags, click “Disable User?”.
