Moneris Integration

For a Moneris Integration in SchoolEngage, we need three pieces of information:

1. store_id

   • Unique identifier provided by Moneris upon merchant account set up. (eg. monca99999)

2. api_token

   • Unique alphanumeric string assigned upon merchant account activation. To locate your production API token, refer to the Merchant Resource Centre Admin Store Settings. The Merchant Resource Centre may be located at the following CA URL

3. profile_id

   • To get your profile Id, you’ll need to setup hosted tokenization. Please follow the below steps to do so:

     1. Login to your Moneris Gateway Merchant Resource Centre:

     2. Click on ‘Admin on the menu.

     3. Click on ‘Hosted Tokenization’ in the sub-menu.

     4. Enter the source domain page. This is the address of the main outer page that sends the transaction to Moneris. In SchoolEngage’s case, It will be the URL of your SchoolEngage instance. (eg. district.schoolengage.ca)

     5. Click the button “Create Profile”

     6. Make a note of the Profile ID that gets generated since this will need to be included in your HTML iFrame code.

Once you have these three values, send a Jira ticket in with this information and a SchoolEngage team member will get the integration setup for you.
