Uploaded District Files
Overview
This section outlines how to view, upload, and utilize district files within SchoolEngage. Each file receives a distinct URL for public sharing, useful for email templates and various functions across SchoolEngage.

Getting Started
To access and operate the features described here, confirm that your role includes the necessary permissions, available under “File Management”:
Permission | Description |
---|---|
Upload Static File | Grants the ability to upload and delete district specific files. |
View Uploaded Static Files | Grants the ability to view all uploaded district files. |
Viewing All Uploaded District Files
Preliminary Steps:
Permissions: Ensure you have the “View Uploaded Static Files” permission mentioned above.
Operation Guide:
Navigate to “File Management” under “Settings”.
Select “Uploaded Files”.
To preview a file, click the “Preview File” button adjacent to it.
Uploading District Files
Preliminary Steps:
Permissions: Ensure you have the “Upload Static File” permission mentioned above.
Operation Guide:
Go to “File Management” under “Settings”.
Choose “Uploaded Files” then select “Upload”.
Enter a description and choose the relevant category for your file.
To add a file, click “Browse”. Supported formats include .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG, and .JPE.
Click “Upload” to finish.
Important: Uploaded files are publicly accessible outside SchoolEngage.
Deleting an Uploaded District File
Preliminary Steps:
Permissions: Ensure you have the “Upload Static File” and “View Uploaded Static Files” permission mentioned above.
Operation Guide:
Under “Settings”, open “File Management”.
Click on “Uploaded Files”.
To delete, click the “Remove” button (trash can icon) next to the desired file and confirm.
Important: Deleted files cannot be retrieved.
Sharing Uploaded District Files
Preliminary Steps:
Permissions: Ensure you have the “View Uploaded Static Files” permission mentioned above.
Operation Guide:
Access “File Management” via “Settings”.
Select “Uploaded Files”.
For the file you wish to share, click “Copy File Link” (chain icon) next to the desired file.
Note: The file’s URL is now copied to your clipboard for sharing as needed.
