Staff Merge Tool

The User Merge Tool has been enhanced to now support merging staff accounts. Accounts can be merged if they have matching email addresses or identical first and last names

User Spot Sync

Staff can now manually sync guardians and students to ensure their SchoolEngage profile is up-to-date with PowerSchool. This includes updating names, emails, and links to parents or students. For more details, please refer to our article the User Spot Sync.

Ability to Send Password Reset Emails

Staff now have the capability to send a password reset email to parents directly from the actions dropdown in the parent profile. For detailed instructions, please refer to our article on resetting a parent's password.

CC Students for Emails Sent to Guardians

For general - non-application related - emails, staff can CC students on emails sent to their guardians.

This feature requires the format of student emails to be setup. Please contact the SchoolEngage team to have this setup.

Send Summary Email to Staff

Send a summary email to selected staff/roles of emails which were sent to parents.

Bug Fixes

  • Student Group Selection (Import Student list from PowerSchool into SchoolEngage) fails to send beyond ~1000 students

    • This requires a PowerSchool Plugin Update (SchoolEngage Student Group Selection) with the se-group-selection

The Student Group Selection feature will not function until the PowerSchool plugin is updated.

  • The SE - Parent mapsource will now properly pull in the assigned users information when used on an form setup with Guardian for Guardian permissions.
