Creating events

Overview

This section covers creating events for the Event Manager feature. This allows you to classify events so everyone knows what it is about.

Event manager page

The Event Manager is located in the main menu on the left-hand side of the application.

  1. Click “Event Manager” from the main menu

  2. Click “Events” from the sub-menu


Create a new event type

To create an event type:

  1. Click “Events” listed under Event Manager

  2. Click “+ Create”

  3. Enter a “Name” and “Description“

  4. From here, you can select a “Required form” which will be used to capture registrations to your event

The items listed below are optional when creating an event

Restrict scheduling for the next day if current is not full

 

Restrict appointment selection to chosen school on form

 

Display organizer name

Publically display who the organizer is.

Display override address

Override the school address to a specific address you want publicized.

Display override phone number

Override the school phone number to a specific phone number you want publicized.


Edit an event

From the Events page, you have the ability to edit an event:

  1. Click the Pencil icon on the event you wish to edit

  2. A pop-up will be displayed with the form to edit your event (see above for form documentation)

  3. Click “Save”


Delete an event

From the Events page, you have the ability to delete an event:

  1. Click the Trash icon on the event you wish to delete

  2. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the account

  3. Click “Yes” if you want to delete the event

WARNING: Once you delete the event, it cannot be recovered.
