Overview

This section covers how to customize the basic setup surrounding your form.

Table of Contents

Name

This text is displayed to the user before creating or opening a form. It is the name of the form and cannot be the same as another form name.

Form Type

There are 2 forms types:

Registration

This form type is self assigned by users and is only visible to admins, once they have submitted the form, and start with a status of New

Validation

This form type is only available to be assigned by a staff or another form. This type is visible to admins if they have access to the form and start with a status of Incomplete

Clear fields when hidden

Global check that will clear any fields if not visible on form save, this can also be done on an individual field basis which is generally more useful.

Enable Parent Polling

Checking this allows you to mark a form as polling. This will enable you to send a link to a parent, that they do not need to login to complete the form.

In order to use this you will also need to setup the Form Email Templates and ensure it contains the {hyperLink} dynamic field

This should only be used for poll information and never to collect student data

Form Category

Can restrict staff access to specific forms, and allows parents to see what category a form belongs to

Form Year

Sets the year the form is for. This can autopopulate PASI meta data and helps parents select the relevant form for the year.
