Overview

The Summary page presents comprehensive tables and charts summarizing the Diploma results. These tables, which replicate data from the Diploma report provided by Alberta Education, encompass both provincial outcomes and individual student results as calculated by Dossier.

Filters

There are required filters available for this page:

Filter

Description

Location

Single value. A list of all uploaded schools from Upload page.

Test Term

Single value. A list of all uploaded terms from Upload page.

Course Code

Single value. A list of all uploaded courses from Upload page for selected term.

Compare with division

Check box adds a column displaying Division results for comparison.

Show province results

Check box adds a column displaying Provincial results for comparison.

And several addition filters.

Summary results

The “Student Standards Summary” is a structured representation of student who achieved standards on their blended mark in the Diploma, as reported by Alberta Education. This table and chart are designed to facilitate the comparison of test results across selected locations (schools or district) against provincial averages.

Student Score Summary

The “Student Score Summary” section displays Percentage Distribution of A, B, C and F, Averages and Standard Deviation of Scores divided into categories School-Awarded Mark, Diploma Examination Mark, and Blended Mark. Information is presented in the form of table and chart. This table and chart are designed to facilitate the comparison of test results across selected locations (schools or district) against provincial averages.

Average Scores and Standard Deviations

The “Average Scores and Standard Deviations” section shows results by course examination part. Information is presented in the form of table and chart. This table and chart are designed to facilitate the comparison of test results across selected locations (schools or district) against provincial averages.

Distribution Chart

The “Distribution Chart” visualizes the Diploma scores of students at a school, segmented into decile groups ranging from 0-10% to 91-100%. Each bar represents the percentage of students falling within each decile, providing a clear overview of the school's performance distribution across different scoring ranges.

Student Margins

The “Student Margins” provides a visual and numerical representation of student performance relative to set academic standards. It categorizes students into three groups: above the Acceptable standard, below the Acceptable standard, and below the Excellence standard. Information is presented in the form of table and chart.

  • Filters: slider is set up to adjust the margin percentage, ranging from 0 to the selected value.

Export Tips

User can export all charts in current page.

  • Click on image-20240728-111716.png (downward-facing arrow) in the upper right corner of the table to reveal a drop-down list.

  • From the drop-down list, select the desired file format. Available formats include PNG, JPEG, PDF, SVG, and Print
