Predefs (Predefined values) create groupings of data options that can be added to drop-down fields within the form. Predefs can be created in the Predefs setting page, or on the fly in the Change Predef window while editing a Form Field.
To add and edit Predefs, got to Settings > Predefs.

The name of the predef.
The name of a predef must be unique. |
Labels and values must be unique. |
The label represents the value’s name that is displayed to users who interact with it.
When a predef is used for a drop-down field on a form, the options listed in the drop-down will be the labels.
When a predef is used for a drop-down field on a form and it is mapped to output, the value is the data that is sent to the output.
Selecting this option will pre-populate the predef’s value with standard “yes” and “no” values.
You can use Yes/No checkbox to automatically default values and labels to use for checkboxes and yes/no drop-downs. |
To create a new Predef:
At the top of the page, click “Create” to create a new Predef.
Fill in the required fields (Name, Label(s) and Value(s))
If you’d like to add more predef options, click “Add new Value to Predef”
Click “Save”
To edit a predef, click the button.
To duplicate a predef value click the button.
To reorder predef values, click and drag the button.
To remove predef values, click the button.
To remove a predef, click the button.
If a predef is currently being used by a form, the ability to delete it will be disabled. To check which forms are currently being used by forms, please see If you wish to remove the predef as a selectable option for drop-down fields, please archive it instead. |
To archive a predef so it doesn’t appear as a selectable option for drop-down fields, click the button.
Archived predefs will appear in the Archived Predefs section.
