Mapping Settings
Ignore on Writeback If Empty
By default, SchoolEngage will send empty values on writeback. This means if a field is not filled out, it could potentially wipe out existing data in PowerSchool. To prevent this, you can enable this map setting to stop empty data from being sent.
Info |
---|
Note: If the field is left empty and this setting is enabled, all send values associated with this field will not be sent. |

Limitations
Inputs
Only one input mapping is allowed per field.
Fields are only pre-populated at the time of form creation.
The incoming data must conform to the format expected by the form field.
Example: Sending "True" to a dropdown list that does not recognize "True" as a valid option will result in the field displaying as blank.
Outputs & Send Values
The outgoing data must match the format that the map source expects.
Example: Sending a letter where a number is expected will cause errors during the writeback process.
