Application School
This setting gives you the ability to choose which school the application will be assigned to when it's submitted. This means that all staff members associated with that school will have access to the application if they have the access to see the form.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Field on Form | Assign to a school based on the selection made in a specific school dropdown within the form. |
From Student Profile | Assign the application to the school in the student’s profile. |
Specific School | Assign the application to a specific school. |
No School | Do not assign the application to a school. All staff members will be able to see this application, permitted they have access to see the form. |
Default SchoolEngage Behaviour | The system combines various behaviors to determine the school assignment for a form submission. If the form includes a school dropdown, it will use the value in the first dropdown. If no dropdown is available, it will default to the school specified in the 'Prepopulate School and Grade Dropdowns' section, provided only one school is set up. If neither condition is met, the system will use the school stored in the student's profile. In case none of these conditions apply, the form will be submitted without a school assignment. |

Secondary Application School
This setting gives you the ability to choose a second school that the application will be assigned to when it's submitted. This can be useful when multiple schools require access to the same application.

Prepopulate School and Grade Dropdowns
This setting gives you the ability to determine which schools and grades are available for selection within the form.
Adding a School
Click the “+” add icon.
Choose a school from the list.
Select the grades you want to make available for selection.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to add more schools.
Removing a School
Click the red “X” ❌ remove button next to the school name.

This setting enables you to limit access to this form for staff members based on selected schools.

Course Links
This setting allows you to control which courses can be selected based on specific criteria. For example, you can grant a student more course hours if they choose a particular program, or set some courses to have no limits while restricting others.
Item | Description |
---|---|
Course Dropdown | The course dropdown(s) you'd like to apply restrictions to. |
Maximum Hours | Maximum number of credit hours for the selected course dropdown(s). |
Linked Form Field | A form field you can link these restrictions to. If you want the restrictions to always apply, select “No Field”. |
Field Values | The values associated with the form field that enable the credit hour restriction defined in the items above. |
